Résumé

In this study, we are trying to find out that the environmental changes that are taking place due to the impact of CO2 have a negative impact on the environment of the (OECD) countries. And our goal is to see if technology changes and developments in general have an impact on the environment and how countries' environments can be cleaned up because of technology developments, that work as an organization for this purpose. So, we rely on ways to achieve our results as well as using (Panel regression). And based on data from several countries. We used this model (CADF, ADF, DF, GDP, GDP2, PATENT, INV, RE, TE). We found out the effect of the development of patents (Technological innovation) on CO2 emissions is positive, indicating that technological innovation is not worthwhile for the mitigation of carbon emissions in the selected (OECD) countries.
