Therefore, a parallel relationship is expected between the economy and maritime transport. And 1973 and 1979 world oil crisis that led to structural breaks in Turkey’s economy, 1989 Financial Crisis, 1997 in maritime trade in parallel when crises such as the Asian crisis has been observed that examined experienced similar declines.</p> <p>In this study, we aimed to determine the relationship between Turkey’s economy and maritime transport.
